May 07, 2019  Following announcements of new additions and amenities to its property, Isleta Resort & Casino is looking for some additional help. Isleta held two job fairs last week in hopes of filling more.

Isleta Resort & Casino continues to expand, and now it is adding a food court with a popular burger franchise and a well-known Chinese kitchen.

Isleta recently announced it will soon have the only Fatburger location in New Mexico. A Panda Express also will add to Isleta’s food and beverage options. Both are expected to open this summer, according to an Isleta news release.

In addition to the new venues, the food court will house the same eateries Isleta patrons have come to enjoy, including Chile Ristra, which serves classic New Mexican cuisine, and Chill Coffee & Ice Cream Shop. Isleta’s TIWA Restaurant & Lounge will continue to offer casual dining just outside the gambling floor. Embers Steakhouse, on Isleta’s third floor, will keep on offering great views and food.

The expansion has opened up more than 150 job positions. Many of the openings do not require previous experience. Other available positions include slots, maintenance, security, housekeeping, custodial and more.

A job fair will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on May 3 and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 4 inside the Triple Sevens sports and dance bar inside the casino. The resort offers a competitive benefits package that includes dental, vision, and retirement. Team members enjoy free employee dining, a free onsite health clinic and more, according to the news release.

The new food court is part of Isleta’s $40 million renovation that was launched in 2017. A new bingo venue, a new entertainment showroom, a new poker room, a new non-smoking room, a new grand entrance as well as the Triple Sevens sports and dance bar were all part of the renovation project, according to the news release.

Casinos That Are Hiring

Out on the gambling floor, patrons can be part of the “Great Outdoor Adventure” every Friday and Saturday from April 27 through June 8. Guests will have a chance to win up to $1,000 cash, an ATV, boat, truck, side by side or a trip. Patrons will receive one free entry daily and can earn additional entries with every 25 points earned on slots, table games, poker and bingo. Players are also eligible to swipe their Eagle Rewards Players Club card at the kiosk on Tuesdays for a chance to win up to 1,000 additional tickets.

TESUQUE CASINO: Time is running out for your chance to win a new Range Rover at Tesuque Casino in Santa Fe. The “$270,000 Range Rover Giveaway” wraps up with the final drawing on Sunday, April 28. Winners will be selected each hour between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. Qualify for the drawing by earning an entry each time you accrue 50 points playing your preferred game.
